Our Story...
Our family has owned and operated Berwick Pizza since 2007, striving to create the best pizza we possibly can. We make our own dough daily and pile on an abundance of toppings then bake them on a stone in our old fashioned deck ovens, giving us the ability to cook your pizza just the way you like it.
Our menu has a wide variety and we offer much more than just pizza. We have a large selection of sandwiches or subs and our salads have generous portions made with all fresh ingredients. We chop our own lettuce, onions, green peppers, carrots, tomatoes, and grind our own cheese. Top it off with one of our homemade dressings! Enjoy an order of our oven baked fries, nachos, or wings.
We strive to make you part of our Berwick family by serving great tasting food backed by great customer service.
We hope to see you soon!
The Name...
The village of Green Camp was formerly known as Berwick in the early 1800's. At that time, the village of Berwick was known for being the head of navigation on the Scioto River. In 1875, the village was incorporated as the Village of Green Camp. The post office, which was established in 1854, was changed to Green Camp at that time also.
Green Camp was named when Captain Daniel Green and a company of American Soldiers camped during the "War of 1812" on land about one mile north of Green Camp, just below the "horseshoe bend" on the east bank of the Scioto River. For over 40+ years, Berwick Pizza has generated discussion of this name origination.

The BANK-quet Room
The bank located next to the Berwick was a staple of the community and had a run of 100+ years! Upon it's closing in 2013, the space was reimagined into additional seating. You can see many hints of the building's previous history, and you can even eat in the vault! No there's no money, but you don't need to worry - there are multiple measures in place to keep the doors from moving. You can see where the teller's counter was, the dozens of cameras and alarm systems, and even the night deposit box!
The bank went through a remodel in the mid 50's, and many photos of the remodel can be seen in frames in the bank. The vault entrance was even hand painted! When the ceiling was lowered during the remodel, it prevented an eagle atop the vault to remain there. Many years later, it was gifted to us by a former bank employee. How kind was that!?
We are glad to be able to preserve the history and create many new memories in the historic building!
